YARD WASTE / LEAF MATERIAL

Yard waste/leaf material is collected by Veolia Environmental Services bi-weekly, on your garbage day, starting the third week in March through the week before Thanksgiving (designated by horizontal lines on the Garbage/Recycling Calendar).

Yard Waste is: bundled twigs and sticks, stumps, roots or shrubs with intact root balls, clean woody vegetative material no greater than 6" in diameter, garden debris.

Yard Waste shall be placed in untied plastic bags, biodegradable paper bags, or containers composted of non-rusty metal, non-breakable plastic or rubber with tight fitting covers and undamaged lifting handles. No more than 30 gallon capacity.

Leaves shall be placed in lightweight, untied plastic bags, biodegradable paper bags, or containers composed of non-rusty metal, non-breakable plastic or rubber with tight fitting covers and undamaged lifting handles. No more than 30 gallon capacity.

 PLEASE DO NOT COMMINGLE YARD WASTE & LEAF MATERIAL WITH EACH OTHER OR WITH OTHER REFUSE OR RECYCLABLES
